"Cà Bertoldi" is the precious vineyard located on the gentle hills in Jago di Negrar di Valpolicella, right beside our winery. It gives the name and the identifying traits to our Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva, which represents the highest quality expression of our production. After some months of drying process of the hand selected grapes, it ages in oak barrels and afterwards in the bottle for many years. Thanks to its complex flavours and the well balanced and elegant taste, it is ideal to be enjoyed as a meditation wine.
- Deep ruby red color with garnet reflections.
- Complex, with matured fruits notes, spicy, balsamic, notes of tobacco, chocolate, coffee.
- Full-bodied taste, velvety and persistent
- 18° - 20°C. It is recommanded to open the bottle some time before serving
- Red meats, roasted or grilled meats, aged cheese and dark chocolate.
